I did some experimentation with various Zelda characters and races and figured out the following:
The AI recognizes the following characters and can get their basic design down well enough:
- Link
- Zelda
- Ganondorf
- Impa
- Saria
- Malon
- Gerudo
I decided to try out some newer characters and the following also work:
- Urbosa
- Sidon*
- Mipha
- Revali*
- Midna
- Zant
The AI does NOT seem to recognize any of the following:
- Darunia
- Goron
- Nabooru
- Ruto
- Sheik
- Sheikah
- Daruk
- Girahim
- Zora
- Kokiri
- Korok
In most cases if I don't go more detailed than that, it still at least gets the "bare basics" down. Saria will usually result in a green haired elf girl with green clothes, for example.
*Sidon and Revali have "red humanoid shark" and "blue bird" respectively, but that's about it. Very loose.
Gorons... I guess they kinda recognize it, to a very limited extent. But they turn out terribly every time.

The hands on this one look bad, but I posted it anyway mostly to show off my experimentation. Like I said, for some reason "Saria" is recognized at least at a basic level, but other notable Zelda characters are not, which really surprised me.
I can't say, overall, this looks identical to Saria or anything, but it does understand the basic idea of who Saria is, and that's just... very weird to me. I'm happy about it, though, because it makes it fairly easy to come up with Saria-related pics of various types.
