Almost like a fabric pattern. Dreamshaper XL tends to do this if the prompt doesn't give it a clear "subject". I don't have any knowledge as to how the model actually works. But from observation, I would speculate that it starts with a pattern like this based on the prompt, then somehow resolves it down to the final image. When it cannot do that you end up with more "pattern" than "subject". Often the patterns are a bit boring. For example, if the prompt is "abracadabra", the model generates a pattern of wizard hats, and since it can't get any further, the wizard hars are the final image. I would speculate, that something like that is happening here, but in this case, the "pattern" is a very nice one that is a "keeper".
