Throughout the middle-ages, rabbits are depicted as lethal maniacs. Illuminated manuscripts do not lie!

These rabbits were mad for lettuce and would, apparently, kill for their greens-desire!

Common folk were laid-waste to their fearsome impulse.

Even an offering of a full head of lettuce didn't slake the rabbit's blood thirst...

And we are left to wonder, what became of these barbarous hares?
