Ideas are bulletproof, as the band the Pist would say. Or there's Rett Butler - "Lost causes are the only ones worth fighting for . ."

The United States Air Force just isn't seeing the recruitment numbers it used to.

Quotas are slipping, and the higher-ups have taken notice.

Apparently, flying in super fast and super deadly jet planes is old news.

Or maybe people are just afraid they'll get stuck behind a desk.

So, the good ol' Us of A has resorted to the basest of recruitment drives.

She's a decorated pilot with several missions under her belt, with the knowledge that she's done some serious recon in a stealth fighter and significant damage to very bad people in a combat plane.

Now, she's unbuttoning her jacket - with no shirt underneath -  for a photo-op so the bigwigs can make people think that joining the Air Force will get them closer to 'all the hot lady pilots' as some idiot admiral said.

But, orders are orders, and she is getting a compensation package for her trouble.

It's not great, but it could be worse.

At least she's not in mortal peril right now.
