Cricket, the Merry Chef

Cricket didn't make a peep for most of his life. He was eager on finding his voice by finding a craft that suit him. He interned as an apprentice to milliners, clockmakers, leatherworkers, seamstresses and even postal workers. All fell flat to him, so he went voiceless and purposeless through life.

And then, he entered a kitchen. The flavours, the colours, the aromas enticed him. When he made his first stew, the bland taste felt like heaven to him. To create something unique and distinct out of raw ingredients was pure creative bliss.

Cricket chirped happily as he began cutting the next batch of vegetables.
