Who Is She?

You arrive early at the spaceport for your luxury cruise across the galaxy.

You check in and board, taking in the austere decor that you saved for years if only to catch a glimpse.

The ship is still in port, the windows showing the busy docks rather than the starry expanse of the universe.

You try to find your room and drop off your luggage, but this ship is harder to navigate than you thought.

You almost run into her. You don't recognize her species. It is a 'her,' right? Why is her chest only half-covered? Isn't she cold?

As you look away from where her outfit draws your gaze, you realize that she is equipped with many small gadgets and devices. Weapons?

She is lost in thought, though her body occupies much of the corridor.

Do you ask her to move? Do you try to strike up conversation? Do you try to wriggle past her with your luggage?

This is going to be some vacation, all right.
