Steadfast

Oh how he tries to get that foothold! Love the sense of peace and calm despite being tempted.

This was my #2 rank and was honestly the one that hit most personally for me. This scripture caption. When God began making his Word undeniably evidenced in my life, this was another of the scriptures that were preached to me and I took a very literal approach. If I got angry, I would make myself stay awake through the night and/or until I could to a place of forgiveness. That happened to me the night before ranks. I was having issues with our housemates and had been angry most of the day, really. I could not sleep until after 4 am when the light was beginning to come through the window. By that time, I had spent several hours listening to Christian podcasts hoping to just "fall asleep" with good influence in the background, but my body wouldn't let me. Not until the light came in, and my thoughts & emotions began to change. Wonderful entry for "Powers & Principalities" challenge, my friend. 👏🙏🕊️😊
