“Helena, would you like to dial Earth?” Fairbairn asked.
Helena paused for a moment then spoke. “I would like to, thanks for asking.” Fairbairn nodded as Helena stepped up to the DHD. Remembering the symbols from for Earth she had watched on one of Doctor Jackson's introduction videos, Helena slowly dialed Earth. Thoroughly she scanned the console and found the unique point of origin symbol. After verifying her sequence and with a nod from Fairbairn and Colonel Larkin, Helena pressed the big red button.
The Stargate kawooshed and Sister Helena input her IDC on her GDO. “Stargate Command this is Sister Helena Burney, SG-24 come in. I repeat, Stargate Command, this is Sister Helena Burney, come in please,” Helena said into her comms.
“This is Stargate Command, we read you, we read you, Sister,” Cate said.
“P4X-987 is back online, we've installed the gate shield. Ready for testing."

“Copy. Stand by. SGC out.” With that the Stargate shutdown. Fairbairn pulled up the Gate Shield’s program and showed it to the team.
“It works like the one on Earth, but portable. The shield will be deactivated by placing one's palm on the screen, provided that the correct IDC is entered. The shield will activate once an incoming wormhole is detected. Just then the Stargate’s chevrons began to glow one by one. The Gate Shield activated.
“Incoming wormhole,” Fairbairn announced. “Gate Shield program is working under normal conditions.” The Stargate kawooshed behind the shield. “Receiving an IDC. She checked the data pad. “It's the SGC.”
“Lower the shield,” said Larkin.
“SG-24, this is Stargate Command. Come in,” said Cate.
“SG-24 receiving. Gate shield systems are nominal,” said Larkin. “I say that Radak’s shield is a success, Cate.”
