Ragnar Thorson, age 15

Ragnar Thorson has a rare, hereditary condition that exaggerates muscle growth. Also, his electromagnetic powers "leak." Hence, the boy is simply, well, "huge" by age 15.

He is, however, an overgrown teddy bear. He's also met his second girlfriend, and future wife, Arlina Sofia Ryker.

Hence, their super-heroic origin stories overlap ... partly because Arlina does something mind numbingly dangerous in order to impress a boy who's already awestruck by her. (And guess who insists on nursing her back to health?)

Yup: even a girl prodigy can do something brain dead stupid when raging hormones short-circuit commonsense. (You can't blame her autism for this boondoggle. Nope.)
