This very much reminds me when I was next to a Glacier just before the sunrise. As the first rays hit the ice, they glowed so brightly blue, pictures didn't do it justice. Was quite the spiritual experience. Also as soon as the light hit it, cracking sounds could be heard throughout and cliffs of ice would plummet into the sea. The ship had to backup to avoid getting hit.
