These pictures were taken by a friend, who aspired to be a professional glamour and fashion photographer. Aoife played along and posed in her one piece. Despite what he said, she felt self-conscious and lacked confidence. He always begged for her to buy some bikinis but she never would. They say the camera doesn't lie but she never believed her eyes.

One day she was spotted posing for him and approached on the beach. To her surprise she was asked to pose for a photo shoot. She really thought they were pulling her leg. They encouraged her, telling her that she could be a star. At the time she was in a dead-end job. What did she have to lose? It would likely be a once-off but seemed like easy money. So in the end, she said yes.
