Created for a challenge requiring we use a one-word prompt and see what happened. I considered "sorceress" and "enchantress," then consulted a thesaurus and ended up running with a more obscure term for a woman with supernatural power: "Pythoness." A word sometimes applied to the High Priestess of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. (That role was also known as "the Delphic Oracle.")
