Eric Montgomery (voice of Donny Most) was the spoiled rich kid transported to the Realm with his five friends in the 1980s Saturday morning fan favorite "Dungeons & Dragons. He frequently was treated as "the complainer" of the group to send a message about teamwork to kids, and fans hated the character at the time. Nowadays, fans appreciate him because he often voices the audience's skepticism about the various dangers in the Realm and even what the kids ree really doing there. SPOILER ALERT: In the unproduced series finale (made as a radio play and a fan-produced YouTube video), it is revealed that Dungeon Master in the series brought the kids to the Realm to help redeem his cursed son Venger, the series' villain. Eric is the one who frees Venger ultimately. The series ending left it open whether the kids would continue on their adventures or go back home. In the comics and in the movie "Honor Among Thieves," they are still in the Realm. This is a nod to Eric in that movie.
