I just adore this series. Every one of them is riveting, both the words and the imagery.  His expressions are so compelling, it feels like I’m witnessing the conversation first hand. Beautifully done 🥰🙏❤️🥰

The Spartacus archetype is an enduring inspiration. The 'Blood & Sand' series continues that with great big gobs of guiltless pleasure mixed in. No digs at Liam's work in the following seasons, he delivers under tough conditions and merciless expectations. There *is* however a chemisty between Andy and Manu in the first season that is always electric to watch, time and again.  This culminates in that beautifully delivered line:

*"You know that in another life, you and I may have been as brothers."*

The visual dynamics just would not come together with both of them in the scene as much as with us imagining Crixus standing out of frame. & Lightning *really* brought Andy's likeness through here.

This is another one I may return to and see what Long runtime does with all those details.
