Beignets recipe
==the recipe==

___Ingredients:___

+ 500g flour.
+ A pinch of salt.
+ 80g sugar.
+ 2 eggs.
+ 1 packet baking powder.
+ 1 tsp active dry yeast (recommended) or another packet of baking powder.
+ Lemon zest (optional).
+ 1/2 cup warm milk.

___Instructions:___

+ Dissolve the active dry yeast in warm water and let it sit until foamy, activating the yeast.
+ In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, eggs, baking powder, and lemon zest.
+ Gradually add the warm milk, combining everything into a dough.
+ Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for about 5 hours until it ferments and doubles in size.
+ Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the dough circles until golden brown.
+ Remove from oil and immediately coat with sugar.
+ Optionally, fill with jam or chocolate for extra flavor.
