Stare

The eyes of dozens,

Almost near,

The lake of fluid,

Colored crimson.

And the souls,

of those who have lost.

The shiver up the spine,

The tingle of eyes,

The wrenching of the heart,

Beating like a drum.

//

A whisper,

A carress,

A sudden thump,

And the wind blowing thoroughly.

//

The despair,

And the cry,

The weep,

And the sorrow.

//

The stones lifted from the ground,

Displaying the discrete.

Ancient writing,

Almost faint.

Another hush,

Followed by laughter.
