The Lake Swing (story of the image in the description)

She had been eyeing the swing since they got to the lake. It hung a few feet off the surface of the water from a tree branch out over the lake. The tree itself seemed to grow out of the lake with only a narrow piece of land connecting it to shore. To retrieve the swing you needed a stick to pull it back so you could jump on the seat and swing out over the water. The problem became getting back off. The narrow strip of land where you started was impossible to return to once you were on the swing. Someone might be able to pull you back to shore with a stick, but that was tricky. Most of the time one would jump or drop off into the water. She was okay with that for now, but would she be cold later? She decided she didn't care. She jumped up onto the seat and swung out over the water. She swung back and forth a few times then jumped off into the water. It was cold but refreshing and she loved getting to swim in her sweater and jeans. She was so glad she had given in and gone on the swing.
