《佛在江边坐千年》

江水悠悠绕佛前， 千年不语度人间。

石面慈悲藏古意， 目光深远望云烟。

风吹不动心如镜， 雨打无痕意自闲。

世事浮沉皆过客， 佛身依旧坐江边。

曾经刀凿成伟像， 一念一锤皆虔虔。

山河变幻他不动， 只将慈悲化人间。

若有烦忧难自解， 来此静坐听水潺。

不问因果与得失， 只求心静似佛安。

English translation:

"The Buddha Sits by the River for a Thousand Years"

The river flows gently before the Buddha, A thousand years of silence guiding the world.

His stone face holds ancient compassion, His gaze stretches far into the mist.

The wind cannot stir his mirror-like heart, Rain leaves no trace—his mind is calm.

All worldly rise and fall are passing guests, Yet the Buddha remains by the river.

Once carved by devoted hands and hammers, Each strike a prayer, each chisel a vow.

Though mountains and rivers shift with time, He turns compassion into light for all.

If troubles weigh heavy and answers are few, Come sit here and listen to the stream.

Ask not of gain or loss or fate— Just seek a heart as peaceful as the Buddha’s.
