I love this. Even though the environment looks rough, the two men are so romantically in love.  

Under the bridge in the dead of winter, everything was frozen, filthy, and echoing with the slow drip of icy water. Frost clung to the concrete pillars, trash was half-buried in frozen mud, and every breath came out as a pale cloud. The two men stood close in the shadows, shivering not just from the cold but from the tension between them. A gust of wind cut through the underpass, rattling loose metal and making the whole place groan. One of them stepped forward, boots crunching on frozen gravel, his face lit by the faint glow of a distant streetlamp. The other didn’t move, his breath trembling in the frigid air as he held the moment steady. Then, in the middle of all that cold and grime, they leaned in and kissed — a slow, deliberate touch that felt impossibly warm against the winter night. The world around them stayed harsh and frozen, but for that brief moment, the underpass felt alive.
