He was interrupted by a form flying across his vision into the group of gray dwarves, knocking them to the ground and into the wall.

It was one of the dwarves from the back of the group, now laying limp before him as they struggled to get back on their feet.

Everything was happening so fast and his vision still felt blurred from the blow he'd taken, that he felt genuine confusion when the screams started and a warm red mist sprayed him in the face and into his eyes.

It stung, momentarily blinding him as things continued to escalate around him.
