i like the style here. i know text is still frustrating; give it a year, it'll get better

Trying to create text is really driving me crazy. I'll keep trying though. Thank you for the nice comment 😁

sometimes, depending on your design, you're better off making the background here, downloading the result and doing a text overlay in something like pixlr, which gives you 3 free downloads a day and has a lot of fonts available to use. plus you can also use fonts of your own you've gotten off the internet. there's a lot more control and variety to be had that way, and a lot less frustration. 

unfortunately that's not as useful in designs like this where the text itself is such an integral part, but it's still something to consider when coming up with projects.
