"Push me in!" she exclaimed. Puzzled, he looked at her, not sure he had just heard what she said. But then she repeated it, "Come on, push me in!" He hesitated then asked, "You want me to push you in the pool?" "YES!" she shouted. He was confused. Finally, she explained, "I need an excuse to be in the pool, so push me in and be my excuse!" He still wasn't sure, "you're being serious?" "Yes, do it!" she replied. He still wasn't sure but went and gave her a shove. She fell backward into the pool, and when she surfaced, she at first looked surprised. He started to wonder if she had truly been serious, asking, "You wanted me to do that, right?" She giggled and responded, "Yes, now help me get out." As he reached down, she grabbed his hand and pulled him in with her. When he surfaced, he shouted, "What are you doing!" She giggled and wrapped her arms around him, "I knew you wouldn't jump in with me, so I improvised!" He shook his head and laughed as they kissed.
