I learned a drawback with houses surrounded by tall trees like this, especially if it doesn't get much sun. For well over half a year, humidity levels are high and days are often overcast with frequent rain and drizzle. The interior can develop a musty mildew-y smell. For someone sensitive to the smell like me, it will ruin what could otherwise be a dream home. But in NC, thankfully, we don't have to worry. I love the looks of this!
