The waiting the waiting an ode to the waiting In a world that's degrading consistently fading I'm still stating and often debating That those worth hating cause the inflating Your funds equating to dreams deflating No more elating over stars who are baiting They are always berating with eyes dilating Your mind they're sedating with ideas conflating They promise they're aiding but truly invading Their masquerading through the filth we're all wading They keep persuading with lies so pervading They claim to be crusading as countries crumble cascading There is no use in evading or of blockading As their presence in trading nearly equal to raiding It's Hell in the making leaving us shaking As I've been explaining as I've been aging Our people are failing to see the future that's shaping Some say quit complaining and suggest embracing I say they're wasting their lives with this craving There is no escaping so I'll just keep praying for a worldwide waking O the waiting the waiting the waiting
