Exactly my facial expression, when i realized, that most linux systems don't support the swap function anymore. This is ridiculous, for instance when you do audio and video sampling. So if i dont find a way to circumvent this i will have to reboot after every video sampling, since when the software is finished the memory inside the RAM (32 GB) is simply not released anymore. Which sucks hard. Two years ago I could run the PC for 2 weeks or so without reboot and could play video games and do as much video samples as i liked. Who the fuck decided, how much RAM is enough to stop using the hard drive as extension for the RAM? Nevermind.
