Most people do not realize that, due to multiple translations into different languages created translation errors. We have not been pronouncing his name the way people pronounced it in his community during his lifetime. His name was "Yeh-shoo-ah" (if you don't believe me, you're welcome to look it up from a reputable biblical scholar and language expert.)

Thank you everyone who participated in the Religious Art challenge. I really enjoyed the variety of images this time, some historical, some modern, and several different expressions of faith. The variety was wonderful.
Participants have held pretty steady at around 30 so I'm going to continue the challenge with increased lobby time and move to a ranking system for once a month entries until the season of religious holidays when there may be more participants with art to share.
