That is correct, and this was only possible because the Daleks were able to break through the resistance of Margaret "Maggie" Thatcher aka "Iron Lady" by constant demonstrations with shouts of "Exterminate!" and "Obey!". The ferocity of these arguments led to the Beatles singing 'All You Need Is Love' at Abbey Road to try to get the opponents to agree. It should be added that the need for plungers in Britain at the time was not nearly as great as was wrongly assumed (especially if one does not ignore the Northern Ireland conflict). π€¦
