What a beautiful, emotional piece, full of meaning and deeply personal throughout. The reflection progresses naturally, quite gracefully, immersing the viewer in the thoughts and emotions of young Finni. I strongly empathized with him in the part about others' indifference to art and insensitivity toward humanity; experiences of such perhaps never pained me as much, but soft, deep disappointment always accompanied them. The fading trust in adults was very relatable for me, too. In all parts, really, I find myself able to vividly imagine young Finni's insecurity, self hate, love, and fear, the pain from this notion of not belonging, and the darkness of thought that envelops him, which like a malevolent current leads him to someplace even darker, a waterfall pitch black, for a brief yet overwhelmingly sorrowful moment — a type of moment whose memory is unfortunately shared by so many and tragic every time — before I as well feel the light he instead moves toward, and it is wonderful.

1. The magnus opus of NC stories! Unlike the movies you predicted, your readers never know where you take them, even though you remain true to your arch story. That is reall unique. I used to predict movies all the time with a frolleague friend-colleague) in my time as film critic. And I couldn't predict this story. I made up in my mind what I would respond to, because there are so many paralleles to my life. I could skate really good, cause I grew up next to pond, but I was terrible at rollerscating and almost exactly such an event. One of my game rooms is called "Dead Actors Society" and has Robin Williams as its hero image, so that says a lot aready what that movie meant to me at the time. I had watched it witih my American family in a double screening with Steal Magnolias and I gave a speach some time later to other youths in some class about how the men struggled to keep an unmoved face in the break and afterwords, and I was making a plea for males to be more true to their emtions
