After a few paces, the hidden chamber turned out to be a large hall that would have easily fit quite a number of smaller rooms inside. Some walls still had hieroglyphs written on them - or what remained of it.
Other than that, the hall was suspiciously large and suspiciously empty.
At the far end, a round stone arc was looming in the darkness.
