A Futuristic Revolver

For all you troglodytes ... welcome to tomorrow.

The revolver has the reputation of "enough shots to get you into trouble, but not enough to get you out." This weapon appears to keep that tradition alive.

From the way it "floats" above the worktop, it appears to have some type of inertia compensation.

The nature of the inside of the barrel would indicate that it is not firing kinetic rounds, but perhaps an energy pulse of some sort. That being the case, cartridges would actually be high energy fast discharging batteries. Not something you would ever want to put in your mouth!
