The trip had been a disaster so far. Their initial flight was delayed for weather, resulting in them missing the connecting flight. The results were a 4 hr layover before finally connecting and making the last flight late getting in. Then, to top it off, traffic was horrible, delaying the shuttle from the airport and instead of getting to the beach hotel at noon, they were fast approaching sunset. She checked in and quickly dropped her luggage heading straight out to the beach. She waded in and enjoyed the last little bit of sunlight for the day. The water was cold but she didn't care, she was at the beach! By the time her friends caught up to her on the beach, the sun was setting and she had gotten her jeans and a lot of her puffy coat wet. But it was so much fun she didn't care.
