It has a strange behavior of standing motionless for hours, imitating an actual traffic post, before springing to life. Its lights begin to flash hypnotically, stunning creatures that look directly into them, while its claws lash out in sudden violence. Crosslurks often work in packs, “herding” their victims into enclosed spaces where their hypnotic glow creates deadly confusion. Travelers report hearing the faint echo of traffic signals—beeping pedestrian lights, long-forgotten crosswalk timers—whenever a Crosslurk is near.
