I hope some of the songs celebrated sauerkraut! 

Unreleased (Thank you Higher Power, whatever *that* means...)

I think the higher power refers to me since I convinced them not to release the sauerkraut songs. I was afraid there'd be a run on sauerkraut at the grocery stores and I didn't want that! As it was, I was nervous about not being able to find any so it inspired me to make my own sauerkraut. The nice thing about using red cabbage for it is when fermenting, the acidification turns it into the prettiest pink sauerkraut! Very feminine.

Every song was about cabbage.  *Really*, CABBAGE!

Some of the songs referred to Borscht (?), some to days long *gas* attacks, and some were homages to *golabkis*, a hideous mix of offal and worse surrounded by cabbage. 

It had one minor hit: *Carry that Bulk*.  It was a song about farm people eating their weight in potatoes, cabbage, and (again) offal, and trying to stand (usually failing) through an entire long bus trip and never getting a seat.

It was the *Beatle's* only 3 out of 5 star release. (*what a gift!*)

This late 80s release was DREADFUL!  Baffling even! Only Paul and Ringo played on it, neither wrote any of the songs, and there were three Karaoke releases on the LP!
