The Vampire War- Frankenstein Orcs, commanders

I was unique among the rabble your government threw together to fight the vampires. I was a gnome and had a better understanding of what the serum used to make these super soldiers. The formula was...imperfect. Oblong limbs, unstable growth rates. All acceptable side effects if the alternative was extinction or being farmed for blood. My kind revealed themselves to humanity just after the vampires had. I was one of the few who knew humanity's chances against the undead, even with their technology and penchant for war. Unlike most of my subordinates, I volunteered for the serum and they answered to my command chip. The mysterious warheads and general wear and tear weakened our control over the hordes. Once the country fell, many of our units went rogue and became roaming bands. Now they feast on the few survivors as much as the vampires. We ended up making more monsters to fear. I try to keep mine in line, but they are understandably...tense when it comes to humans.
