Years back, I had a good friend in high school that was an amazing violinist. She'd won competitions and was presented with a top quality violin at one competition. I lost contact with her later as she moved to New York to attend the Juilliard School of music and take further training. Years later, a Sunday edition of a well-known newspaper had a front page headline about a young violinist who was raped, strangled and had her body stuffed down an elevator shaft. She was due to play at the concert being held and when she didn't show up, a search was made of the building. It was my former school friend. Her husband went into a deep depression and never recovered. Even all these years later, when I see an image of a woman violinist, I think of her. Your image is quite lovely. She would be around this age now if she had lived.
