“dum spiro spero” (en. while i breathe, i hope), that’s his life motto as a walking corpse. he became a zombie after a lab experiment meant to cure a certain illness, but it backfired instead. strangely, he doesn’t bite people, despite that he looks like one.

when the scientists gave up and released him, they treated him like garbage instead of a human. people stared, whispered behind backs, called names (hence the title _the rotten zombie_), avoided him everywhere. they kept crushing him until he just went…numb.

but one day, some indie crew spotted him walking down the street and asked him to be a background character for a zombie film. he said yes, and boy, he does it flawlessly.

he still remains as a background character in so many zombie movies, no matter the genre. when he’s not on set, he does volunteer work at a homeless shelter, using his weird second life to help folks who feel invisible too.
