The Tenacity of a Titan

Syn A'Skirrik, the V'Siteract Cleric, stood atop a jagged cliff, staring down at the chaos below. The skirmishes were tedious, lacking challenge or thrill. Lesser battlemages reveled in the destruction, but to Syn, it was like watching ants fight over crumbs. The boredom gnawed at their sanity.

"Is this all there is?" Syn muttered, her fingers crackling with arcane energy.

Seeking a true test, she cast herself into the heart of a storm, summoning ancient, uncontrollable forces. The earth quaked, the sky tore apart, and Syn relished in the sensation of power spiraling out of control. An ancient titan awoke from a millennia of sleep, Only at the edge of annihilation did she find the exhilaration she craved.
