Congratulations on third place! As this is a fact check game on AI's representation of history on NC, I fact check all the submissions. Not doing that would be defeating the cause of this game room. Both, boxing by itself, and wrestling as part of several multi-sport disciplines competitions had been part of the Olympics. Wrestling training-fights did indeed take place in the palaestra. What I could research, the actual Olympic wrestling would have been held in the open stadium, though. And: wearing nothing, but olive oil, even during the much more prudish Roman times. Which, according to my sources was the reason, the Olympics were banned eventually by a Christian emperor as "pagan". AI likes to represent a perizoma like this - worn til bout 720 BC. It looked more like the loincloth today' sumo wrestler are wearing.
