The Semblance of Yggdrasil

An attempt was made to create a new world tree, however current magical knowledge was far too lacking to succeed. The creators did however succeed at creating a powerful force of natural power that seamlessly weaved together divine, arcane, and thaumaturgic forces in order to help bolster the magical environment that had been ravaged in an arcane war. While unable to speak, this tree seems to have obtained some form of sentience, and the colors dancing across its leaves shift and flash as if in response to questions directed at it, and on occasion, leaves flutter to the ground, covered in secret messages, that only fully reveal themselves for the intended recipients.
