And now part of the story! Can't emphasize how much I love the look, so now I've reserved these images for writing. Like, the self-rule or whatever is I won't publish without giving the image some sort of written place, too. It keeps me writing...but now I got art standards lol. Thanks as always!

Amara got a good look at the vessel on approach in an atmosphere shuttle. The ship was refreshing its air and recharging from an aurora effect in the upper atmosphere. She recognized it as a Ketuun Pocket Dreadnaught, a design issued for testing that never went into further production. It hadn't been lost under her command, that was for sure. It was at least a decade old.

It was in pristine condition, however. The hull had the patina of a vessel in deep space storage, but once off the shuttle, she could feel it pull steeply out of the atmosphere like a sprightly new craft. Kaley greeted her in the main corridor with a hug.

"Fonz is with me. I pretty much made him captain," Kaley said. "This is KPD-3, never named, captured on her maiden voyage."

"What? Shooting rocks?" Amara laughed.

"Exactly that." Kaley nodded. "Skorosh says term 1 is designated practice areas. That's why they took her in the first place."

I may thank you for helping put a law in place we really needed. As they drag you off, of course.

Doesn't need to be big crime, either. "What happens on one planet doesn't affect another," or some other cheater-spirit cliché, is again based on distance. They won't know because it's so far away? Easy case and food for half a year. I'm game.

I take out the 'but it's SPACE' worry from your concerns. Because it does not, in the slightest, concern me.
