Excellent work on its own, but I think you are expressing some of the deeper meaning we discussed earlier. My drum teacher (from Ghana) used to tell me that for his people (Ewe & Twi) their ancestors were practically living next door, not gone & forgotten. IMHO, what he meant by that was there was a deep cultural reverence for the ancestors, and appreciation for what they did to get the new generation to the "front of the line" as you are here. None of us just arrived out of nowhere....we all come from generations of people that can be traced back to the beginnings of humans on this planet. A long and complex story, certainly one worth noting and celebrating.
