Ingredients:

Milk Mixture:

• 1L milk
• 3 tbsp sugar

Egg Mixture:

• 5 eggs
• 5 tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla

Caramel:

• 200g sugar
• 3 tbsp water

Instructions:

Caramel:

• Heat sugar and water in a pan, stirring continuously 'til it turns a caramel.
• Pour 2 tbsp of the caramel into mold/s. Let it set at room temperature.
• Heat milk and sugar over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Do not let it boil.
• Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl. Slowly pour the warm milk into the egg mixture while whisking constantly to prevent the eggs from cooking.
• Pour milk mixture over the set caramel in the molds.

Baking:

• Place the molds in a bain-marie.
• Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes or 'til the pudding is set and the top is golden.
• let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at 2–3 h. n serve chilled.
