Begging a question or three: 1) How many NC Hype Crew members are there? 2) How does one qualify to become a crew member? 3) What role do members of the crew play in running NC (other than hosting team challenges?) 4) To whom does the crew report? 5) To whom does an ordinary NC PRO member complain about the conduct of a crew member? 6) Do crew members receive any special benefits? 7) If so, what are they? (8) If not, what incentivises them to join the crew?

So, it looks like my colleagues also provided some answers for you, here is my 2cents: The Hype Crew was put together to help energize the community, run creative challenges, and just be a friendly presence both on Discord and NightCafe—especially during a time when someone from the team was out on maternity leave.
There are quite a few of us—I haven’t counted recently, but I’d say definitely over 10! We report to @Divinecassai and the NightCafe site owners.😉
If anyone ever has concerns about a crew member, those would typically go to Cass via the support or feedback tool on the site or by pinging her on Discord.
We do get a few little perks for helping out, but honestly, it’s mostly about supporting the community and keeping the vibe positive.
Hyia. Ill try to answrr all, but with luck, others will back me. Pardon for mistypos because im on mobile, scrolling up and down.1) About 7-8 currently. 2)Mostly interacting in the Discord and being positive in general. We were also summoned on a time of need by our community manager @Divinecassai . 3) we help with hosting site and discord challenges, keep track on winners of our challenges on other social media and try to help where we can, Mostly on discord and site chatrooms. 4) guess we report to Cass and site owners themselves. 5)i think the most official way is here on the feedback/support tool to open a ticket with the appropriate tab. 6) we do have some perks, but not sure i can disclose them, so ill refrain. 7)same as 6. 8)its ultimately a volunteer role(same for Discord and Facebook mods). Guess the will to help, being positive and try to help new and old comers. Hope the answer helps a bit

The Hype Crew is a small invite only group of trusted community members who help engage fellow creators on and off the site, run fun events, and support the overall vibe we've built here. Hype Crew members aren’t staff but they do report to the NightCafe team. I lead the Crew as Community Manager and collaborate closely with the team behind the scenes.
