If I told the whole story behind this, The Changing Map series ...well, life is just too short. I'll try.
You can see the start image. Never intended to use it. That is actually a rectangular panel that I covered with old, torn pages taken from a 1971 Earth Catalog, I pulled out of the trash. Trash being my thing. Anyway those edges will come off today. Always meant to trim them.  The thing is a substrate for a painting.  The plan is to paint over it. It sort of took on a life of its own. I have never tried so many times to evolve an image as I have with this thing. Ridiculous how many were worthless. But ! The idea of The Changing Map I like very much. I was hoping you'd like this one.
