Heads of the Family- Adelle Reinpieuter

Reinpieuter roughly translates to "Sleeps in the nothingness", as it was the motto for an orphaned teenage Maximillian during the Occupation of France during WWII. His fight alongside the resistance ended when Jean-Claude Chamond turned through a bite, creating a whole new vampire family. Owing to Maximillian's sneaky nature, Reinpieuter gained the ability to absorb the darkness around them to empower them. The current head is his daughter, Adelle, who expanded the repertoire of powers to make the Reinpieuter vampires able to dash great distances in the blink of an eye, move from one shadow to the next, and use darkness itself as a shield. Being an offshoot of Chamond, Rienpieuter vampires are daywalkers, a feat many Lestat despise them for. They effortlessly pass as humans and often get privileged positions in both the Shadow and Human Worlds. Adelle is close with the Wolfblood Witch Coven and the son of her best friend guards her daughter and heir, Renee.
