After more than seven months, it has now become a regular event for so many of us. I hope things will not change even though, starting this week (the 32nd Weekly #Caturday), __the prize-pot will be exclusively the one offered by NightCafe__.

In fact, thanks to the new system, "private" prizes like the ones I've been giving out for the past seven months have become redundant -- surpassed in quantity and prestige by those from NightCafe, and that's thanks to NC's focus on the community.

Wow, "sparkling sapphire meets ruby" was my first association. Out of interest, I looked in the prompt and saw that you also worked with the terms for gemstones. I often find blue and red to be a great color combination, but sometimes - depending on the color - I don't like it so much. But with this picture, I have to say that I don't think I've ever seen such a great color combination of red and blue tones. It was a very good decision, I think, to work with the terms of gemstones. I love that incredible blue glow in the eyes, the beautiful red of the rose contrasting with the crystalline yet liquid blue tones of the water. Of course also the flying rose petals, crystals, the blurred background with rich blue tones and glow and of course the cute cat. A really wonderful picture, Jasmine! Congratulations to this creation! :)

Thank you! Honestly, I enjoy working with the colors blue and red in my art; they are personally one of my favorite color combinations. I'm glad you liked there application here. Using names of gemstones in the prompt was an idea I was experimenting with; I'm happy you liked its result! :)
