bridge between realms

This got to 3.6 in the bridge challenge, a score that used to be good for a top 20% at least. But the winner got a whopping 4.46. Holy ****! Admittedly a beautiful image but that means a majority of all voters had to give that absolute top marks, (personally I rarely put top marks, would have given it a 4) - is this rigged? It was still a leap ahead of the runner up.

Anyway I clearly have no sense for the meta and then you don't stand out - or you do but in the wrong way. Anyway I didn't care much for this image anyway, it's too pretentious, too blah. But minimalism would surely have failed much harder.
