Really tried to get a tactile look to it which is something I'm REALLY struggling with at the moment since Nightcafe changed it's models a little bit but this looks relatively ok. It looks a bit too much like a stop-motion animation rather than the hand-felted look I would have preferred it to have taken on.

It won't be till spring. When fall came with potentially frosty nights, I took them inside and they're now pupating. I asked and the red one's a male and two females. When they emerge from their sleep and "make-over", I'll have to make sure I get the right leaves for when the eggs hatch. When young, the larvae don't drink yet. There's an age limit. It's not until they're in their last instar that they're ready to drink. The wine makes them sleepy (just like me but without a headache) and so they're happy to now pupate. Boy, caterpillar husbandry is quite involved! So expect a notification from me in late summer. 🐛🍷😂
