Curse Of The Low Effort Comments

Endless notifications I need to go check to see "low effort" comments and replies are why mostly they're turned off.
Please consider that it takes time and energy to co check through notifications for comments and mentions as they do not show in preview..
Clicking through to find the comment was simply "congrats!" or "cute!" or "thanks for the tip!" actually is what puts me off opening comments on most of my creations.
I'm sure you all also find it quite frustrating if you end up in an endless loop of "cute!" "thanks!" "you're welcome" " 😉 " " 👍 " with ever increasing pointlessness.
Chronic pain (especially in my hands) and fatigue, plus mentally being drained and stuggling to keep focus a lot of the time make it even harder to deal with overwhelm of seeing lots of comment notifications which turn out to be just a reply to a reply to a reply.

to close comments or to open comments? it's a dilemma. even sending a tip with "no need to thank, i am drowning in notifications" isn't being read and I get notifications I then need to go check to see that someone has just written "thanks for the tip" and thus totally negating my effort to reduce endless low effort comment notifications. it is easier to just keep all notifications off again since i can't keep up. but that makes me appear hostile/selfish/unfriendly and ungrateful for people's urge to like and comment and praise. I don't mind personalised and well considered comments at all, but endless "congrats!", "cute!" or thanks! replies etc just end up making me exhausted and overwhelmed and i totally lose my train of thought, spend time and energy clicking back and forth only to see a thumb up emoji or "cute!" when it's was obviously intended to be cute. Please let's commit to less is more
