This was practice art for a challenge, but it might become reference art for my writing projects.
Where this potentially parts from a scene on my planet-moon, Homestead, is that a lot of the vegetation there is blue -- but that would look dark under mostly green & red light. It's notable that there's not a lot of flowers, large shrubbery, or trees in this image.
Furthermore, red seaweed on Earth thrives at depths were scant red sunlight reaches. And red pigments readily absorb green light. On Homestead, the same red pigment would be advantageous, especially in the polar regions.
(Homestead's global auroras operate continually and provide mostly green light with some red. Hence, they're the primary light source to power photosynthesis for half the planet at a time. During wintertime, they're vital to life in the affected polar region.)
This image shows a desolate, windswept wasteland under a night sky illuminated by bright green and red northern lights. The rocky, frigid landscape evokes a sense of cosmic desolation, rendered as holographic astral art.
